Gah. I hate not having Ch. 6 KOTV. I'm stuck watching Ch. 8. Apparently there was a touchdown at 81st and 169 in Tulsa? I'm not sure how accurate Ch. 8 is. I have lots of family in Wagoner...I don't like not being near them to help.

Glad to hear ya'll haven't had any damages and are safe!

City and NaNa how is looking for you guys? How about the person in Rose(sorry I forgot who you are) Has any one heard from Quenston? News tonight was talking about you alls storms, they are headed for us but they hope they peter out before they get here.

I have to second what Maribeth posted. I thank you for your service I know how hard it is on the family & I pray for you all.

You made me cry just thinking about how hard it will be for you all.

HUGS.

I can't say it any better than these two did. THANK YOU!

Hey Everyone of my Following PEEPS,

Because of the non 60% chance of rain that did not happen today our septic was put in and will be fully complete tomorrow (if it dont rain) and my neighbor was kind enough to come over and till me my 30*30 garden plot.... tonight Jason was gracious enough to cut me some posts so that I can begin making my pallet picket fence for the garden area... I am so excited to be doing this on my own... Brooklynn has been kind enough to help me as any 3 year old who thinks they know everything could... ha ha and lil Priscilla was a peach and pretty much slept the whole day except for when she would cry and need me to hold her for hours on end.... (insert internal thinking of where was all them handy women from POOPS when I need them ).

Peaches: ya know we are here for ya if ya need anything.... unless you are like me and just go ahh the H e double hockey sticks I am doing it all myself.... ha ha ha especially when the hubster is gone or deployed...

Everyone else I hope you are doing alright if you are in an area that is storming

TEACH!

Earlier today, I found one of my half-grown Pyncheon pullets dead. {need I mention extremely rare & highly endangered breed} I noticed her head was "wet" looking. Since I have been running in circles chasing my tail with all of the end of school activities, I assumed I hadn't fed and watered then often enough. Kicked myself a few times.

I might even have a few bruises. Anyway my Yokohamas were going crazy just a bit ago so I slipped on my headlight and went outside to check them out.

A huge chicken snake was curled around my roosters feet on his roost.

My mean ole rooster wasn't feeling quite so mean.

It's about 5-6 foot long. I made the connection my poor little Pyncheon's "wet" head was actually dried slime... I guess the snake thought if the bantam youngster was too big to eat he might try a big chicken.

Sorry Teach but I believe that once a chicken killer snake, always a chicken killer snake. Yes, Fizzle I am hands on and so I grabbed my shovel.

My special flat tipped manure shovel. I sure wouldn't want my neighbors thinking I'm freaking out over here and shooting at them...

So Teach, I am VERY tired of living in snake hollow. You want to round up a bunch and take 'em home? I've heard that they come to you if you wear a pink tutu while carrying a butterfly net after dark. I'll provide a net & headlight if you bring your tutu.

Just checking in.No storm damage here but we did have a funnel cloud just south of us.
A channel 9 chaser popped on and told Gary England he had a funnel sighted. I figured he was chasing the ones up north but hen he said he was at I-40 and I-240 near Choctaw road and was looking East.
It didn't take us long to hide but it never touched down.
Hope all are safe.
Check in.
p.s. Les, I saw the long line of storrm chasers on channel four. I was thinking of you. Glad you are OK.

Monty

Morning all, checking in, the tornado went south of me through Stillwater, we got lots of wind and rain but all was past about 8pm, have not heard anything about Stillwater yet, if my wife had been at work yesterday it would have went right over her at the Atwood's on the north side of town, we are all ok. have a blessed day all, Lynn
