- where are you from, Perryspeeps?

And in case you didn't catch the Newcastle directions, that auction is at the Newcastle Ag Building - off of Highway 62 and south of Sonic ¼ mile next to the city park. For more info call Jamie Parker- (405) 387-6092 or (405)426-0911, or PM phpoultrysales or modernman.

I'm in Choctaw. I'll be going to the auction. Do any of you know if anyone will be selling Wyandottes? If so are they reasonable or are they high because of their beauty?

Welcome to the group Perry.

I am in Choctaw too. Sort of. I am a little south ogf the actual town.

I'm closer to Stella. For some reason I'm in OKC's jurisdiction for police and fire, Cleveland county for property taxes, and my daughter goes to Mcloud High School. Totally bizarro.

Oops....

Momma bought five birds at the auction....
and I bought eggs.

Dad is not very happy with either of us...
He says he about to start selling my birds........
Anyways, once again had fun talking to people at the Auction. Had to leave early so we didn't take off with more than we had

Hello all. It has been a long week. We celebrated Lauren's birthday today. The party was a huge flop. Over half of the guests didn't show and the ones that did left early because of the extreme heat and wind. This was the first year that we had her party at the park and I guess we should have just done it at home under the A/C. We never even cut the cake. The few people that showed up just ate cupcakes. It kinda irritated me because I spent 2 hours decorating her cake and nobody ate it. Oh well, at least they will have cake to eat while I'm gone for the week. I ended up with a good hatch from my RIR and my Serama. The nest eggs from POOPS didn't do well, neither did the Cochin and Turkey eggs that I bought. I ended up with one feather footed bantam from the nest eggs, no Cochins, and two Narragansett turkeys.

I would like to meet up with some of our friends while I'm in Tulsa this week. If anyone would like to meet me for dinner, let me know.

Ok, so I go out to check on the chicks in the brooder box, and end up watching them chase bugs for a half hour. Do I have a problem? I've even caught bugs to drop into the brooder to watch them chase each other around and around until the bug gets eaten.
