Just shaking things up. I have been on a quest to get down to four breeds for a long time. I have backed out on selling the Campines many times.
Plus I Need to redo my whole chicken pen operation. I have two large oak trees that died last winter and I need to cut those down before they fall on my barn and pens.

Yes I have vacation time but won't be using it for an actual vacation this year. My first week went mostly while grandma was in the hospital & the rest will go when we start building.

Hey Chuck ya gotta love those granddaughters. Mine was my tag a long for 12 years,year 13 she discovered cell phones and sports,and boys. Don't mind the sports but could do without the other two!lol.

Still no rain here but its back up in the ninetys and really dry. Don't think my corn is going to make it. Just took another 8 chicks and hen off the nest. Thats 23 for the weekend. Still have four setting.I started these off with boiled eggs like NN suggested. Pigeons are doing good. They like the hot weather.
