What breed do you have? I am looking for a Bronze Tom

Royal Palms... The parents are from different people right here on
the board from two different "poops". The clutch she hatched is what
I am trying to thin down. They group chase my roosters. Hand raised
so they are pretty tame over all.

Morning Everyone!

Quick ninja post before I have to go clean the coop.

I am not looking forward to this but I can usually get it done in 15 mins now I have a system. The biggest problem is the chickens complaining I am bothering them. Oh well they can't have it both ways.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Planning to go to Blanchard tonight and Uli is coming with me.

We are taking two cars since he has be home early cuz he gets up before the butt crack of dawn. I so dislike his schedule but at least it is same shift everyday, not the day/night schedule he had before.

Well I better get to it. The coop will obviously not clean itself. I keep hoping though

GOOD MORNING OKLAHOMA CHICKEN PEOPLE!!!!!! LOL, OK so I got a little carried away, it has been a typical morning here with having to drag Dakota out of bed to do chores, he can get up at 6am for weight lifting every morning except on the weekends when he doesn't have it but you have to drag him out of bed if you want him up before noon on the week ends(OOOOHHHH to be fourteen again!!!!!), anyways got him up and started, got Heather her meds and some cereal and then went to get me a bowl out of the dishwasher for some cereal and it was filthy!!!! Dakota had loaded the pans from last night in the dishwasher with the meat drippings and grease all over them, WELL everything in there was filthy,SOOOOO guess who gets to was ALL the dishes by hand after he finishes his breakfast this morning and THEN he is not allowed to use the the dishwasher until I say he can again!!! (I am thinking a month maybe will get his attention and soften up the calluses on his hands from all the UUUHHHH weight lifting!!!) Oh well such is the life of a poor chicken farmer, no baby chicks YET!!!!! Stay tuned for the next episode of the LIFE OF A CHICKEN FARMER!!!! Have a blessed day YALL!!!! Lynn

I hope you feel better soon. It sounds like the awful virus that Gerald & I had earlier this year. It really knocks you down and then the crud in the lungs took almost a month to finally go away. Definitely get lots of rest and keep hydrated!

I'm sorry you can't make it to the Blanchard Auction tonight. I don't have to work this weekend, so we are going to the auction with a truck load of chicks, eggs, and veggies.

Wow Jim,

We haven't seen you around in ages! Maybe you could make a trip to the Blanchard auction tonight? We'll be there and will even have some silkie chicks.

I am sorry I can't make the auction too! I am having auction withdrawals as the last auction I attended was POOPS. It seems like it was forever ago. Actually I am feeling better today, and Vern even let me go to the coop and barn to watch the chickens!

That made me feel good but it wore me out too. Man, I hate being sick. I want to be outside. But for now I get to do this:
