SCORE.......... I found these huge. 6 ft x 5 ft x 4 ft cages at an estate sale for 8 bucks.sold 4 for 175.and got my own free.......... and got some awesome wooden cages .enclosed with screen and doors.for free ! yeah.just had to share

Good morning Okies!

Last night we had what seemed like a regular ol' thunderstorm that quickly proved otherwise. We had straight-line winds that made trees bend in half (how do they not snap in two??) and heavy objects relocated--concrete statuary blown over, lumber strewn everywhere, things that I thought were pretty safe just MOVED ON...sheesh!

Well, needless to say, the tarps we had up for shade are toast!

So it is out the door this morning to try and "fix" the shade areas for the chickens. AND of course...we are expecting some severe storms again today...

Les, did you guys fare all right in last nights wind?

Did anyone else get the same kind of storm?

Hope everyone else was spared that wind...but the lightning show as PRIMO!!

OK--out I go into "air that you can wear" to fix some shade for the chickens! Have a good day peeps!

Before I went to bed the news was hollering run for life storms for our area, I went to bed and we didn't get anything more than a shower and I never woke up. They also were screeching about expected 70 mph winds, never happened here.
