Jersey Giants are cool birds. I just wish they didn't take up to 2 years to reach mature size. If you are just looking for large meat birds, you might consider something like they are raising at the Tahlequah processing plant - Hubbard chicks. You can order some to pick up at the Tahlequah facility on the date they receive their delivery, or by now, they may be hatching their own. Send me a PM if you are interested in phone numbers for the Raymond at the Tahlequah processing plant.

Yep, All our flocks are NPIP, but we aren't hatching much right now, since we're too busy with gardening and working full time. We could probably special order some hatching though, if you're interested in any chicks from what we raise. We've been mostly selling our eggs as hatching eggs or for eating.

I really could use a couple hundred more RIR even if that means 25 at a time

You are correct. Have you had the opportunity to tour their facility? I have only purchased frozen chickens from them when they first started delivering to OKC and we got them at the Bass Pro shop parking lot.

Okay does anyone want some tiny foo foo mutt bird eggs? Both of my Frizzled Cochins decided to start laying on the same day. I currently have today's 2 eggs and would be willing to give them to someone if they wanted to try and hatch them. They are currently being housed with my Seramas. Can you imagine that cross?! I really want to see what the babies would look like. I am not hatching any eggs right now. I need to get my bird setup and my house situated before I even think of incubating.

Jeannie I still have the Mallard drakes if you are still interested. Give me a holler if you want them.

P.S. I just got off the phone with Roy. He says that he is in Weatherford getting "edumacated." We made plans for him to come visit tomorrow after I get off work.

We have turkey poults hatching now of the 4 varieties we raise, but not sure how many of each until I look them over. We've only been hatching occasionally, when we haven't sold the eggs to others for hatching. We also have some that are a little older. I'll send you a pm.

If you were to put in an order, sure!

I've been so busy with work (well right now it's slow) and then too much to do at home, that I've done my best to almost stop hatching anything. If it weren't for our peacock pair laying eggs, I'd have totally stopped the incubator a month ago. All our cages are full! But, I can be talked into special order hatching
