Yeah, my kids were nervous, I'm sure most kids are. This was their first show, and I'm just glad the judge was having fun with them. If he'd been mean about it, they'd have never wanted to show again! I think they'll be more relaxed about it next time. My oldest boy is going to show broilers in the Tulsa State Fair, but I don't know if they do Showmanship for that? He'll do ok, though. He's a trivia buff and likes to find out obscure facts about the birds.

Lynn,
Rabbits have not been selling for good prices, due to the heat. And no, I do NOT NEED anymore rabbits!!!! My mom asked me this afternoon how many rabbits I have and I am not sure how many there are in the 2 rabbit barns.

When you come in to OKC, you will want to take the I44 turnpike like you are going toward Lawton. You will get off at the Blanchard/Newcastle exit, which is the last free exit before the turnpike begins. Go through Newcastle and through Blanchard on HWY 62. Just on the other side of Blanchard and after the stop light, you will turn South on County Line Road, which is right next to the rodeo grounds. Go about 1 mile South and you will see the FFA metal building on the left. It is sort of a plum color and there will be a lot of vehicles parked in front of the building. If you want to do a Mapquest, the actuall address is 2500 County Line Rd, Blanchard

Get there as early as you can since your stuff sells in the order it is brought in and the later you come the later your stuff sells and the fewer people there are to bid on it. Prices get cheaper as it gets closer to 10 pm, which is bad if you are the seller.

Yeah! I am going to Blanchard....Will leave directly from work. Suppose to be done by 3:00 but sometimes that runs into 4:00. Can't stay long, but at least I will get to go look around and kick a few tires. I can surround the BYC table for awhile if needed.

I'm wondering if it should be left unwrapped for a time to let the wound breathe some. We put a large patch type bandaid around the area, then put the splints and wrapped it up. I was cleaning it with peroxide, alcohol, scarlet oil, and using a soft toothbrush. Then, we put the antibacterial ointment on it before the bandaid went on.

Pretty hectic, always tons of traffic, never any peace from the big city lights of Antlers & Rattan.

School & Work keeps me pretty tied up right now. I'm still way behind on posts!
