There were some red golden pheasants on Craigslist. Are they the same? Probably not.
I bet they taste the same though.

Good late morning everyone!

Just thought I would pop on and tell everyone what Home cooked goodies was on the menu for Saturday. Food Starts AT 4:00PM and served until depleted. Will be a buffet line so that each person will be fixing their own plate the way each person sees fit. Food will be available until food depleted.

No, I have a pair of red golden pheasants and the coloring is totally different than the yellow golden pheasant roo that I have. They currently all co-habit peacefully in a very large enclosed area, but I will need to take the yellow golden male out next spring so that I don't wind up with hybrids.

The red golden and yellow golden are not as large as the ringneck pheasants that are getting freezer burned because I don't want to pick the buckshot out of them before cooking them.

And I can't believe I missed an ad on Craigslist for pheasants!

Hello all. I have been one busy little bee. I have worked 12+ hours every day this week. I promised someone that I would post a pic of my Frizzled Cochin. I haven't been able to get a good pic. I haven't been home before dark all week. I finally got a pic today. It isn't the best, but hopefully it will do. Here she is.
