I don't know if you know how much we all have been pulling for you, somebody heard all of our prayers.

I am trying to find a way to get there today to help with the porch, Laura is sick and Alyssa is wanting me to run her everywhere. But I will try to get innovative and find a way to make it there, just don't get the thing built before I get there, or at least before the food is gone LOL. Who's buyin the BEER ??.

Hope everyone going to Blanchard has a good time. DH is returning tonight from a two-week business trip, so I'm mopping floors and cooking a nice supper. I counted my birds today and realized that I've got too many roosters. Maybe I'll find a way to attend an auction next month.

I got my first installment of White Chantecler from Sand Hill Preservation Center yesterday. It looks like they will be sending me the rest in a few more shipments. I ordered mixed large fowl as filler, and I was thrilled to see that among those were 3 Jersey Giants and 2 BLRW. I hope as the balance of my Chantecler order is filled I see more "filler" birds that can be worked into next year's breeding plans.

Amen to that - I tried to send a card to you while you were in ICU Stimpy, but the card came back yesterday as undeliverable. Whatever - I'm just so glad you're home and better. (Hospitals - ick!)

To Stimpy, Welcome back, but don't turn down the ransom yet, you'll need it for the hospital bill!!!! lol

To Elwood Lightfoot, Thanks, hope all yours hatch I'll be crossing my fingers and a few toes for your success.

To artsyrobin, Thanks for the link your girls a pretty. Maybe one of my yellow's will turn out like your last pic (crossing my fingers anyway b/c she is very pretty) I have only heard wonderful things about EE's personalities.

To Okla-doodle-doo, doing it yourself is always more satisfing, that way it is done just as you want, congrats for the upcoming move home. I am just a transplanted Okie, but love our area of green country. I was truly impressed w/ the color mix too.

To everyone I have a few new "creative pics" of the girls I am going to post when I get home from work, they are funny and my husband was just shaking his head, think he is considering meds for me!!!!!!!!!!!! lol:lau

Hope evyone who is going to auctions tonite has a great time and get lots of new birds,be sure and fill us in on your catches.

Evening folks! I have had a busy day! My mom is in town & she came by to see the new house. Grandma came to, it wore her out just getting from the car to the porch. I was glad that it was cool enough to sit & enjoy while she rested.

I planted grass & did alot of clean up around the new & old place most of the morning & afternoon. Then came in to cook three meals so I could be ahead of the game for tomorrow & Monday. Then I went to visit my mom & grandma for alittle while. I finally made it home where Maddie & I made soap!

I'm tired

I have enjoyed watching TV this evening, something I seldom do, and am trying to restore all the beekeeper contacts I lost when my phone and email were synced. Unfortunately, I don't have a printed list of my BYC emails, so won't be able to restore those unless I can find an old email with names and emails.

Please feel free to email me with your email address so that I can get you "back" into my address book.

Did you skip out on an auction????? Say it aint so! LOL.

I'm not sure I have your email but do have your phone number did you loose those?

How is the beekeeping going?? Did you get more honey this year?

I got a pair of Mille Fleur Cochins at the auction tonight. The little pullet is already tame. I already have three - two pullet from Yonderoak where this pair came from. This spring should be very exciting around here for me.
My husband wants to know where these two new ones are going to live. I already have it worked out. Jack Cocoran (I'm lucky to be his neighbor) has a tractor pen I can borrow till I turn 1/2 of my garden into a pen this spring. (I'm tired of the disapointing tomato harvests anyway.) So Jack is an enabler too!

Tonight Blanchard had a rather low turnout and not alot of birds. There were some very nice Flemish Giants with pedigrees and some beautiful turkeys. Prices on alot of birds were rediculously low.
