this is true Jason was born and bred in Ca, I was just raised there and I believe I found the promised land here in OK

but obviously not exactly in the area I am at.. but the general well vicinity of OK

There are a few retailers in the area we use Shawnee Feed (the orange building on Beard near downtown Shawnee) but we have found it in Chandler and a few other locations. We tried several feeds including Shawnee Mills, Nutrena, Purina, Blue Bonnet and found the US Suppliers to be a better choice for our birds and wallet. Feed consumption decreased by about 1/3 while egg production increased considerably,, very good hatchability with heathy chicks, The birds seem to molt out better with good feather quality and the chciks do not pick on each other at all even when slightly crowded wich solved several problems we had with other feeds.

Yes, I did read that. I can't seem to find anything except a regular grit bag, none of the #1 or#2 everyone talks about. I wasn't sure if it was to big and a choking hazard for them, so I gathered up a lot of small rocks really tiny ones and put those in. Their bedding is entirely river sand, and when we give them eggs (every morning) we grind up the shells w/ them in the blender. Is that enough or do we need something else? They are eating, growing, feathering, jumping, running and pooping like crazy. Does the normal grit have small enough pieces for them and if so, will they try and eat the pieces that are to big?

I will try and see if US Supplier feed is available closer to OKC. I can justify the 40 mile round trip to Harrah because I save about $2 per bag over what is available in OKC and if I leave directly from work can get there before 6 pm, but trying to get to Shawnee during regular business hours might be a challenge. It sounds like a great feed however, based on your results. Thanks!
