Yes I slept in or at least for me. No chicken shows or soccer games today!!! I have lots to do around here so I will be busy.

Thanks for the answer P&B, I decided to keep it in with me one day as it just started eating & drinking good. I will put it with it's momma tonight.

Not the real tall long neck ones, but the short neck thick chest. I would love to find a splash rooster and about 4 hens that has started laying so they know they are laying blue eggs. I am trying to find someone that has been breeding blues not just mixed colors and a few happen to hatch out blue. This is what I get for loving the color that is the hardest to find.

Today is Auction Day! I have a big pot of candy for the little ones and the young at heart, so dont forget to come see us today.

We will be moving to the enclosed barn for this sale. Its getting a little cooler and we should move inside for the winter.

Update- From Maryland - 1 chick that had to be helped - may not make it.
New York - 1 lavender, 1 pipped - probable won't make it.
Georgia - 5; 3 black split to lavender, 2 lavender.
Not great rates but I'm not disapointed. I didn't expect much, just wanted to get this flock started before spring.
Spent some time with my partridge trio this morning. Think I'm going to keep them. They are such pretty birds. So I need another pen this spring. Bet I'm not the first with this "problem".

Where is everyone? I am trying to help out this morning... We need to have a get together and really get the newbies addicted better... How do we round them up and get them to show or swap? make thier mouths water and need a poultry fix or chick fix something..
