Well, it looks like my Buckeye hen that I thought was going to go broody has decided to hang out on a different nest now.
Maybe some of them will get the idea this spring, a broody hen would be neat. I am getting double-yolk eggs about once or twice a week from one of my hens, something else that I have never had before. I am definitely glad that we were able to make the jump out into the country life! Even if it does require things like climbing up on top of the quail coop to attach a tarp over their runs.
