P&B I wish I could get in on those cinnamon rolls!! They sound wonderful.

Wayne the sign said "one well behaved pet welcome", she hasn't said a word or made a mess! LOL

I have no ideal how cold it is out there but it looks cold.

Good afternoon everyone hope you are enjoying you weekend. Just a reminder we are still having our auction in newcastle today. We have been taking consignments all day and have a variety already up here. Sale gets started at 6. Barns warmed up heaters are

I went to the swap meet today and watched Michael work his magic on customers.
I really enjoyed just hanging out and visiting with him and some of the others out there that I know.
Somehow he managed to sell me an Ameraucana rooster with saying a word.
I bet you guys didn't know he speaks at least three languages, four if you count "chicken talk" which is pretty much uuniversal.
Thanks Michael for the fun!

HIYA everyone

Its a beautiful day and thought I could be a loving wife and help the ol hubster clean out the shop... does that give me brownie points... just being in there with him.. ha ha JUST KIDDING I actually have the fun job of sweeping so I am doing something.

How is everyone else?

IVY... thoughts going your way on this tough situation yall are going through.

Remember Chickens fix everything.. maybe put a foo foo chicken in hospital room...

Got to meet and visit briefly with a nice young gentleman at Chupps auction: Banjojoe! It was cooooooold and there were a LOT of chickens and other poultry. I was tempted by some Diamond Doves, what I think was a light blue Parotlet complete with nice cage, some lovebirds, and some cockatiels, but I resisted. Vashi is wonderful, but I'm sure there's a line somewhere!

Looked up parrotlet, and that isn't correct. It looked quite a bit like a cockatiel, but was a solid light "self blue," had quite a long tail, and had no crest. Just beautiful

Betsy maybe it was an Indian ringneck.
I also went the sale. Prices are really low but thats expected. I picked up a nioce pair of young Dark Brahma bantams for $2!Didn't need them but the price was right. It was really cold last night and will be tonight to. I had to bring mouse number two in because she is about to pop. Going to have to find me a mouse market I guess!lol
Any one raise mini hogs or Guinea hogs on here?Been thinking about trying some of them. Don't know what it is about mini stuff but I sure love any thing miniature.

I guess everyone has found an auction to attend tonight since there aren't any posts!!

We are home safe & sound with 6 additional birds. Madison had a great time & did well with her Black Cochins.

We drove in & went straight to our 4H pie auction & queen corolation (sp), I am really (really) tired~ Good night all.

I don't know anything about a show in Stillwater.....Sorry.

Glad you and Maddy made it home safe! Sounds like more breeding stock.

Kramer ther is a pigeon show but I am not sure of the details. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Banjoe, well you hit two sales what do you have new!lol. How about you Donnie did you find that bird that you just had to have!

Migiax glad you made it back from the eastern side ok!Always good to be home isn't it!

Betsy - Sorry I didn't track you down at Chupps. I saw your silkies and showgirls, but I didn't see you. I talked with Joe for a bit, bought some banties and a couple mixed breed hens. The hens were in a birdcage, the type one keeps parakeets in, and it's going to look great after I sand, rustproof, and paint it. The Coral Blue guineas I got from you are nearly full-grown. The younger group of six usually runs away when I try to be friendly, but then they gang up on me and crowd me when I'm trying to give them new bedding or fresh water. The colored guineas seem almost tame, but the pearls are still too shy to pet.

Joe - Thanks for the banty tip. One of the little ladies has a runny nose, so they're all on meds for a week. None of the others have symptoms, but like you said, they're all exposed.

Danny - I wish I could have gone to Brushy for the recent auction. Joe said it was a good one.
