Second, I attended an awesome Veteran's Day Program at Fairland Elementary school this morning and saw my youngest daughter, who is 5 years old, get a Student of the Month Award for Respect!

I am so proud of her and also so proud to be the daughter of a Veteran!

Sigh so today isn't such a good day for me. I had to help a friend move cattle yesterday. we weregone around 3-4 hours. the only people that were home was Angela who hates me and everything I stand for 90% of the time. with the exeption of when she actuallygoes toan auction and trys to act as if were having a good time. My 7 year old mari, and Airel my 14 year old. Airel decided to ask her mom to go to town since she knows i wouldn't let her go when chicks are hatching. Angela wont even feed a dieing chicken much less attempt to check anything. she just lays in her room sealed off from the world and watches TV.
When I left my temps were 100.1 degrees and my humidity was and had been for 10 days that I knowof with out any serious fluxuating. I get home and I can tell 3 of my buckeye chicks are wrapped. and I mean shells fuly pipped and they were ready to break out. (let me back up) The other day when returning from the auction in newcastle. I had a wrapped chick. I made the statement I cant believe I have any wrapped chicks This is the first time I really kept my paws off the bator and let it be. Angela replys "" I had to open it up to save one its my fualt."" First off this lady in 1 year has never even took 1 moment to attempt to act interested in what I am doing she don't know the first thing about chickens. nor is she interested to learn so what on earth was she saving? Now to fast forward back to where we were. When I get home my temps are 103.9 and every chick that was in there was wrapped these chicks as i said were fully pipped almost out of there shells and then glued down. I knew one was dead 3 others still moving. the only thing that would cause a heat spike is if somehow it got so hot in a room that the inside temp was say 105 probably. She just went to her room and locked the door when I asked if she knew anything. this was my most important hatch with severalvery expensive eggs in it.
I think the time has come where I must start thinking about moving on with my life if I ever want to get ahead and be happy. this is getting old and irritating very fast. sorry I guess I just needed to vent a bit. Not saying she did or didn't do anything But she was to busy eating and watching tv to even check them temps. (unless the spikes are her doing) granted I have only had 2 spikes since I owned this thing.Once when I kicked her druggy brother out. and yesterday. Sigh guess I just needed to vent sorry for all this rambling.

Matt, There is not a lot I can do except pray for you and offer some encouragement.
I don't know your situation but I will pray that you will follow God in the direction He leads you.
One of my favorite scriptures is Romans 8:37
