He likes 'em ok, and he likes the eggs they lay. As far as actually enjoying their company, I don't think he's as into them as I am, so if he wants to sit the show out he can. He knows he's certainly welcome to come along, but I won't push it. He puts up with my horse shows pretty well, I don't want to overwhelm him with a chicken show.
Mine had to take care of them while I was out of town for 4 days. Somehow he decided he likes them too, though not as much as me.

I'm in the same boat you are! I bought 13 chicks, 2 ducklings and 2 goslings back in April. Then in Aug I ordered 25 more egg layer chicks & 4 eye candy chicks, 2 Polish & 2 Cochins. Unfortunately, my JRT's did for one of the Cochins and so I only have 1 black one now. I love those wonderful 'bedroom slipper' feet! I need more Cochins..ssssshhhhh don't tell my hubby!
Those are some gorgeous birds! WOW! The more I see of the Cochins, the better I'm liking them.
Mjgigax those are very nice and pretty Cochins! Well what can we say,it's just the bantam bug at work, and regretfully there is no cure ,it only gets worse! At least you are still in the first stages, you are still with only one breed! We will keep you in our prayersLlol
After church we went to afton but they were mostly gone by the time we got there. Spent the rest of the evening fixing a rabbit hutch for the nieces kids.Back at the Doodle Do Ranch now and thankfully have Internet towers for the iPad.it comes and goes here,so does phone service!
Man this wind is crazy! I sure don't recall it blowing this much before! Told my wife to bring a good coat up with her,I hear 30 degree weather is on the way! I may be hunting a better place to stay!
Any ideals on how to get rid of an old trailer ? Does anyone salvage them? What's the best way of disposing of them?
