Check the bulbs in the lights themselves. Sometimes the filiments burn out and then cross with the second filiment in the bulb which tries to turn on all of the clearance lights the vehicle has. I have came across this hundreds of times on the trailers because they bounce around so bad.

Good Morning~

The slowness of the board is killing me, I use to come here to stop thinking about whatever was on my mind & now it isn't busy & no one is here.....

Good Morning MJ & Robin~

Nothing but painting for me. If Al were around I would ask how long it will take for the primer to dry.

It is dry when your finger doesn't come away with paint on it when you touch it

NNbreeder - thanks for the suggestion on the lights. I don't like losing the entire instrument panel at once. I like using a speedometer so that I won't be as likely to get a traffic ticket.

Fortunately, I reset the gas guage on another panel everytime I fill up, so I can tell how many miles are on the tank and refill before I get stranded.

Good Morning All!!

We went to Blanchard last night. they didnt have alot compared to the normal but we did mange to come home with a LF Buff Cochin pullet. She is 4 months old and absolutely beautiful. Beth in Oklahoma was there with her crew and made sure that the buff cochin didnt go home cheap either...LOL

Hey Doodle, sorry I didn't get back to you, just got on today though! The piggies you are talking about at 3 weeks old are technically ready to wean if they are eating pig feed. They will need a 20 to 22 percent high protien pig starter or I have even added milk replacer or milk to the feed myself, they need the added protien, they grow very fast and can double their size in a couple of weeks, I know that comercial pig farms pull their babies at 1 to 2 weeks of age and put them in brooders so they can get the sow bred back and more production out that way, this is really hard on the pigs and the mother but that is part of the profits. The protien level will need to be dropped by 1% or so every 2-4 weeks untill you are finishing them out from 5-8 months of age on a 12% protien diet. I myself like to let my sows raise the pigs up to at least 4-8 weeks old, and the older the better, the sow will start weaning them herself around 6 weeks old, she will teach them to eat and drink on their own and I think you end up with stronger better pigs myself. Sorry for the long answer. Pigs are very durable and adaptible. if they have food and water they will grow, how fast they grow depends on the quality of food and water. I myself feed ALL my pigs on a straight 15% protien hog ration supplimented with food scraps, they take about 8-9 months to reach my desired 250-300 pound butcher target size but that is what I preferr. Hope this helps.
I have not had real good luck with my chicks this year but have managed to raise some of my games inspite of the problems, have raised a few egg and meat types also. In all it hasn't been too bad a year so we will see how we make it through the winter. (BigOkie, am hoping to get some Americaunas,Sexlink, and RIRs chicks from you to brood for spring, Let me know!!!) ,Yall have a great day! Lynn
