BethinOklahoma came to the Blanchard auction with her family. Anna Belle went home with some lovely barred rocks. I think it is neat that the entire family is into poultry. Anna Belle was kind enough to bring her 4-H chicken book and her Pocketbook of Poultry book , to share with us. I was amazed at how much practical information the 4-H book has in it.

I don't suspect that putting Doc on an airplane so he can return to his duty station will ever get "easy"
Looking forward to seeing you and the boys next week at Fletcher.

You have found a wonderful group of folks who either live in Oklahoma or wish they lived in Oklahoma

Since you are already offering us the opportunity to acquire hatching eggs, it appears that you are going to be one of the "enablers" on this thread, for those of us who have addictions to hatching poultry.

Storm windows actually sound like a good idea and better insulation than the spare tote lids that I have braced around one of my pens for a windbreak. I tried putting bales of wheat straw around it a few weeks ago, but the other birds that are free ranging didn't waste any time in pulling the bales apart.
