Gmorning SUNSHINE!!!!! Well it is shining here anyways, I am hopeful that we will get the 20% rain on Sunday though,

my wheat still hasn't got enough moisture to come up yet,

it may be spring before the horses get to taste sweet greens again!

I would have to say that chickens do vary as much as dogs,

you see you can have tiny Serimas, beautiful Gamefowl,

Longtailed Yokahomas, feather legged Cochins, Naked necks, and not to say the leaste is the Jersey Giants!!! Quite a variety to choose from if you ask me!!!!

I have NOT got my Murry McMurrey catalog yet!!!!

If you are interested in showing chickens I really recomend you put out the money and get a copy of the Standards of Perfection, you will be amazed, some of the best money I ever spent when I was showing OEGBs . For pigeons, the book called Encyclopedia of Pigeon Breeds is well worth th $100 dollars I spent on is some uuuuhhhh 25 years ago!!!

I am intrigued. So do you then put the whole waterer on top of the closed cookie tin? What if your waterer is plastic?

Yes the waterer goes on top, I have plastic one gallon waterers & the black pans on one, I haven't tried a metal waterer yet.

Thanks for the link, right now all of our water is outside, so we will have to change some stuff around for next year.
