I am looking foward to next weekend when hoefully we will have the time.
We have chickens and chicks to move and rearrange today and tomorrow.

I had fun at the Fletcher auction last night and was glad for the opportunity to visit with MJ on the drive. I am hoping the I was successful in selecting female guineas out of the cage last night, since I wanted more hens to begin the egg laying season with. I was reminded of how much the guineas like to be with their own kind last night as the new guineas congregated in a huddle next to the side of the flight pen that faces the area where the resident guineas roost, and began talking to them. After they have been quarantined for a few weeks and bonded with the resident guineas, I think they will stay around our property. Making sure (new) older guineas remain on the place is always my concern with acquiring older guineas.

The trailer still contains the long cage and the chicken tractor I bought. Jaxon declared the chicken tractor big enough for him to get inside. I hope he doesn't claim it for his "fort"

Morning folks! P&B how big is your "Poultry&Rabbit&Guniea" farm? It sounds like you must be for sure in the country. I want to get some gunieas when we get to the country. I sure like the ideal of being able to pick "choice "out of a sale box rather than haveing to take them all. Wish they would do that here. Of course all the "buyers"( resale people) won't allow that. Thats how they make the extra bucks! Average people can't afford to take a box of fifteen to twenty-five birds at $8-9 a whack when all they really want is two or three.

That sounds like a great auction to go to
