Evening everyone,

MaryBeth so glad you were able to pipe on in today and hope that the rest of your healing days will give you that much needed rest.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Sorry to hear about the poser being MIA and the duck... Last year Both Peaches and I suffered losses (sometime around late summer/ early fall) on our ducks

with in a 3-4 day span we were losing ducks left and right but in our case there were no tracks, feathers or blood to show that something was amiss... just the missing birds them selves... we are talking 2-3 birds a night on those nights.

Robin it wasn't a hawk or an Owl. Really sounds like either Coyote, Fox, or Bobcat. All three are excellent climbers and jumpers.

Thanks- sure has me

now to change the way things are done- FIL saw a coyote a couple weeks ago, and i know there have been bobcats- no telling- so aggravated! so i may be looking for a goose for Mr P the gander- is there any breed of goose you can get as a chick and know its gender?

I've got birds from him and have seen the birds on his yard too. Beautiful, and he can look at a youngster running about and point out it's parents and all of it's relation running around on the yard too.

Why yes there is. Pilgrims are sex-linked but I don't remember which is which. Feathersite would have the scoop on that.
