I agree, dad taught me alot bout horse. He still knows more in his litlle finger then I will ever know but I have done somethings with horses that have amazed me. Alot of it is just using your mind and not even saying a word. I know it sounds crazy but I have seen dad make that big stud get off a mare and put his nose in the corner and skip stand there with no one holding him there. dad just point his fingure and he minded then he would let his fingur down and skip would mount again.

my father was taught by an older indian that had a big stud he could do that with, I dont know near as much as either of them, but I did pick up on some stuff, have trained a few horses myself...never had the patience to really 'finish' one out but got a lot goin good...

The only BIG V 20% that Im aware of is a medicated chick starter...?

We stopped using the Big V a while back. Didnt like it as well as the United Suppliers.

what is the united suppliers? right now i am feeding the A&M feed. both laying and chick starter..but its not as much protein as i would like in either one so im just checking with you folks to see whats working for you thanks

US Suppliers is a feed they sell in shawnee, ask Sjarvis, they feed it a lot...

I'm not sure something like that can be pulled off, it would be different if you didn't have to pack up & go home at the end of the day.

Well then how about a little Lecture/talk/question & answer type thing, talk recipes, hints, supplies things like that.

AL

I think Nanakat knows alot more than I do & as you know I will have my hands full the day of POOPS & will be lucky to get to see the processing of chickens.

I swear I cant go anywhere that someone doesnt know my father, I would have never guessed that someone on here had met him and been to his house. He hates chickens thought I was safe. LMAO

We tried all different kinds last year to find something we liked and at a price we liked. Everybody has their own preference but we settled on Evergreen and United Suppliers to work for us. The evergreen right now is running $12- $13 a bag for 16% pellets. The United Suppliers is $10 a bag for 15% pellets. Our birds lay well, look and feel healthy, and their feathers have a nice sheen to them. We also noticed on the United Suppliers chicks starter we are not having any issues with paste butt, and the chicks dont pick at each other. So far we are extremely please. They make a 17% layer but so far I have only been able to find it in crumbles and we prefer to feed pellets.
