she is so funny, i moved a couple eggs out of her nest, and darned if she didn't start hunting for them! they nn have alot of brains in those funny heads of theirs!

she has already laid a clutch, and gone broody on you? Wow....
 
I love the color on that hen....that little nn that robin has is very tame, I raised her from a 6 week old chick, she has been handled a LOT....she was a good mama when she raised some babies for me but very tame...
 
nope, my cochin banty decided to lay in her box, so i put her in there not noticing then the next day i took them out, and should have seen the look on her face as she dug through looking for them, so i gave her back one- see they are in seperate enclosures, but snowball is sneaky and popped in her box....

i need to give her some eggs from the banty flock- i hope to integrate her there, but she and the duccle fight like cats through the fence
