well the pens i use for breeding is behind the house so its blocked from direct wind from the north there is a 3 inch gap around the top of the pen for ventilation , and i have the front where the doors are covered with tarps


here is the pen back in spring , the back , all of the top and the sides are all covered now with tin , but there is the 3 in gap all the way around at the top

Maribeth, they told everyone at my DW's state builing not to come in so that is what I was going on.
My DW has been there over 25 years and she said she doesn't remember them letting her know the day before. They always say check in the morning.
She said to me "Since there is a woman in charge now we have someone who can plan ahead!"
I said Yes dear!

There seems to be a lot of snow out this morning but is hard to tell how much because of the drifts. It is very windy too.
 
I just went out to start my truck and there is about 6 in on the ground and coming down. Boy,it is nasty. Maybe I should just stay home. lol I really don't expect many at work today.
 
morning folks- sleeting here on top of snow, woodstove is going, first cup o coffee is down, yes Al, i have ham to put in those beans!
