I will go back and read the article again - sure don't plan on moving further South because of some chicken - although this weather has me considering the wisdom of remaining in Oklahoma during December - March.

Sounds like San Francisco.

I have attended meetings in San Francisco several times in August. Thought I would freeze to death once the sun went down.

I want to believe whomever is predicting the least amount of snow - but at the office we are preparing for the possibility of a closed office on Wednesday. It doesn't make any sense why there are such wide variations in the predicted amount of snow.

Well, I volunteered to take the late shift so a friend who lives even farther out in the country wouldn't have to drive at 9:00 at night. We don't ever close our offices, no matter how bad the weather or how dangerous the conditions. I figure the reason the library never gets to close due to weather is because the president of the union works there.

I will be once again taking my pillows and blankets in case I need to spend the night again.

Does that mean you are doing a really good job for the union and someone above you is not happy with your good union work, or that you need to renegotiate working conditions on behalf of the union?
