That's what I was thinking since the true silver Gene sometimes has that faint ticking in a feather or two that comes in after a molt on
the silver whites. Good to know I wasn't seeing double.

We have delt with it too. it is more common with the Silver white, you may want to keep that one reserved for breeding.

Don't feel bad, i wont allow them to contaminate our incubator or hatcher with NNs. I am afraid it may be contageous and I would never get it out of there.

It doesn't bother me that some people don't like NN's.
It took me about 40 years before I had any.
I still won't say they are pretty but I do like them.
The fact that they have become the rage makes me wonder what everyone else sees in them.
Les talked me into trying a few and I started out breeding them as a "fun" project.
Anyway, I know they aren't for everyone. Although they seem to be gaining ground.

They are gaining a huge following we Okies seem to be making sure there is always a bidding war when they hit the table LOL. I do think they are cool, don't get me wrong I am all in on ugly chickens just look at my birds LOL, big Ole fat things that pop POOP the size of cattle pie's LOL. I like the Bow tye ones, nothing like dressing properly for the dinner table LOL.

I am also not on the NN band wagon, glad someone likes them b/c they look like they could use all the love they can get, but I like my girls bearded. (I also think the showgirls look scary, like friendly, cute killer clown scary)
