Just a word of caution if you have cats that you want to keep around - permethrin is highly toxic to them. An equally effective insect controller is pyrethrin which is not toxic to cats, and can safely be used on most animals, and to clean out their houses.

good tip upc...we dont have a cat and there is no way you will catch me trying to bath a cat....imo, bathing a cat is like telling your wife that you wear the pants in the family, and if she dont like it well thats just too bad....dont ever do that
