Not about the future - the last time I saw him I felt if may be the last. I try not to listen to my 6th sense, trying to blame it on a vivid imagination.

Where in the world did you find Chukar, I have been wanting some for awhile now, I am Jealous, I love to hunt them with good dog's but my favorite thing is eating roasted Chukar.

I have 38 eggs in Jacks new incubator (1502, or something like that - ) Most are Mille Fleur Cochins but a few are partridge Cochins. If they all hatch like the last - 9 out of 9 - I am in trouble. I have 8 more partridge eggs collected.
My little partridge broody is off the nest after hatching 5 eggs. Her sister kept laying her eggs in the Broodie's nest and I kept removing them. I tried to get them out every day. How long can they lay under a hen and not start the incubation process?

Hey poco- he likes standing on the duck house.... and has pretty much ignored the fact there are other roosters in the area- still working on getting the girls- some are not impressed!

its such a pretty site to look at the pasture and there he stands surveying his domain, with the girls all in his eye range- he has fit in

I'm wondering if leaving them in will help keep the temp stabilized. more mass already at the proper temp.
