Making homemade Pecan Chocolate chip cookies, in hopes that will make us all feel better, it always does

I agree. If pecan chocolate chip cookies won't make you feel better, then you just need to go back to bed.

What was she wormed with? Wazine-17 is only good for adult round worms so if you miss the follow-up a new crop will hatch out.
And by people's own admission DE looses it's effectiveness when wet and I have never seen an intestinal tract yet that was dry.
Many times it takes a good chemical wormer to get the numbers down for natural controls to take over.

I generally do mine once a year with Ivermectin, in the fall just beore winter sets in.

Another thing to check would be her crop. seperate her out this evening with no feed or water and see if her crop empties overnight. If it doesn't she could have an impacted crop. One more thing to do is to smell her breath, it should not smell like soured grain, which is nasty smelling. Often times sour crop pops up when they have an impacted crop.

Sure is nice seeing Dr Les in the house again, we surely missed all your good advice.

I had mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Along with Lortabs, Flexorils and Neurotins. Should be set for the night but it has been a couple of days since I have had to take any pain meds. for my back. And I have usually only taken them about twice weekly since I got out of the hospital.

But what is killing me the most is that stupid me decided that this was the perfect time to kick my 37yo Copenhagen habit. After all it's not like I can jump in the truck and go get a can. The cravings are still very prominant and it's been well over a month now. Don't the ad guys realise that the stop smoking commercials are just as bad as the commercials for tobacco?

OK, I had to look up online where the crop is. How do you tell if it is impacted? Also, I have only had her for a little over 3 weeks so I didn't have her when she was wormed. Someone else mentioned it so I called the previous owner, who is also my farrier and has been for years and asked him if he had ever wormed her and he said yes about 3 months ago but I didn't ask with what. Don't notice a bad smell from her breath but she doesn't really let me smell it well. We haven't picked them up much.

Ugh...so not prepared, I don't have enough Coop spots for everyone! Ahhhhhhh....I gues its into the dog cage with the poor girl.

I really appreciate your input. Have learned so much from this site.
