There is a $5 admission fee to get in each day.
On Friday, the auction is for bison, zebras, exotic deer and sheep, goats, etc. Behind the auction barn are poultry of all kinds in cages, rabbits, dogs and in the yard outside is equipment and lots of misc. stuff. Inside, for sale are hamsters, exotic foxes, reptiles, small birds and "warm room" animals and poultry. On Friday, the poultry, rabbits, equipment, small animals, warm room animals, etc. are priced and there might be some negotiation on the price, if you can find the owner.
On Saturday, the auction begins at 10:00 am with the poultry, rabbits, small animals, warm room animals, lbottle babies, then the equipment and then the llamas and any miniature donkeys.
My experience has been that most of the poultry arrives Friday morning and quite a bit is sold in the back alley on Friday. Some new poultry arrives on Saturday for the auction and anything not sold at the marked/negotiated price on Friday is put through the auction on Saturday.
I am planning on going on Saturday..... Not to buy anything of course, but they do have great food in the concession stand.
