Does anyone know if Jones is having their auction this Saturday. I would assume so, it is the 4th Saturday, but with the holidays... Does anyone know how to find out, phone or something? Also, where exactly is it I've not been to that one, but I am in Stroud and need to find a few leghorns for a friend.

I had around 60...lost 30 of them this last summer...including Reba.

Killed me to lose so many. I think a worm infestation did it all. In 18 years, never had a worm problem, so I didn't know what was going on. I took Year of the Rooster's advice and wormed the suckers...haven't lost another yet.

The Blanchard auction is tonight. We went last month and had a good time. Inside and warm with a snack bar. Bring your own cage for the ride home but they did have a few that went for a low price.

I was just checking to see if anyone knows of any changes in the auction schedule. If anyone has any new info let me know and I will post it to the list.
I heard they are trying to start one in Noble.

dates vary, "merchandise" sells before auction. birds sell with cages, so get ready for some junk cages.

quality varies from yard birds to show stock.

anything from peafowl to baby chicks.

usually starts around 6:30 on friday evening, sometimes a little later.
prices vary from fantastic to poor.

start taking consignments at 4;30 or so, most birds dont arrive till the 6:00 to 6:30 range.

The Prague exotic auction is this Friday and Saturday.

There is a new auction coming soon to the Noble area. I don't have all the details but it will be on Tuesdays. Somewhere around highway #9 and 120th.
