Oh yeah Hooligan, I bought the mega bag of couscous...that was before at the food A-Z. That bag is huge, mightt last 3 generations.

So, I had to (no, really, I really had to)

go to one of the feed stores today so I posted the flyer there. (Alma Feed next to the Post Office).

So coming up 71 rather than the more logical 64

I stopped at A-Z gifts. Holy cow, I got out of there $200+ lighter in the pocketbook. I found some cool stuff, and a nice 8x10 rooster rug for my (soon to be with all the knick-knacks I got) Rooster room. I had to stop myself as the basket was full.

Thanks for the tip, I love that gift store!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE the poster, but since this originated with Backyard Chickens, it would be appropriate to put the website on any advertisements too.

I had problems fitting the other info on there! I plan on making a full page one and I can add BYC on that with no problem!

I am going to make a MySpace for our Chicken Stock and I am going to use one of the bumper stickers as a link to BYC...unless we have some other images that would make nice widgets.

Bliss, you got the $150 rug didn't you? Which one was it? There are two and I LOVED the one with the chickens all the way around the boarder so it looks 'normal' from any angle.

YES Hooligan - THAT rug (chickens around the border) 8x10, not even sure how to fit it in my new "Rooster Room".

It is so awesome I knew I couldn't leave without it. Amazing you knew which rug it was tho!!

Dang girl, you know those A-Z's inside & out - any other tips?

Have you checked out the Sporting Good A-Z? A local chicken guy here told me they sell those steel multi-nests for a good price but I just finished making mine with modified planss from the new Backyard Poultry mag (5 gal buckets).

And now onto the Chickenstock poster....somehow, don't know how cause it was pretty convoluted the way I did it, but I was able to change the size into a full-size page. Just printed off 5 to have handy at all times.

Well I knew which one you were talking about bc I went there last week looking for an area rug and I REALLY wanted that one but bc we are planning on putting new carpet in, I walked away without it. But when we buy our house its all mine!
I never go to the sporting goods store, not a 'sporty' person

But I will have to check those out. When we first got our chickens (2 yrs ago) we made the nests but bc of our lack of building skills they 'lips' have fallen off. They are still in the house but I have since gone to 5gal buckets too, which they seem to like better...if only I knew chickens would have prefered those to the Raspberry Fizz colored ones I made

When you enlarged the flyer did it distort the fonts any and make them pixelated? I didn't even try bc I was afraid that would happen.

The poster printed out fine at full page, fonts not pixelated or anything. Dang, can't wait to see what else you come up with...

Since the Chickenstock name and get togethers originated at Backyard Chickens and are BYC functions, the BYC website really needs to be on all advertising and information that goes out. It should also be prominately displayed at the show. This is a great way to let others know about the website and what is does for the poultry community.

Hey I was thinking because someone wanted to have a fat chicken contest... to kind of go with the ugly chicken contest, could there just be an oddity type show, where odd chickens could get tagged in fun ways. Like fattest, baldest, smallest, loudest, etc chicken?
