I was talking about A-Z Gifts...they have one aisle of nothing but chicken stuff and then the 'sign' aisle has vintage poulty signs. I don't live in Alma but I was going to hit them up for some donations. They usually donate to animal related events so I thought we might have some luck.

Hey I've been there! That place is wonderful. They have lots of stuff or did the last time I was there-which was a few years back. I would love to get back over there though. Have fun!

They have so many different buildings to A-Z now...even a diner!

Hooligan, Red Rooster is next to McDonald's, they do not sell anything but the best very sandwiches (with homemade bread) and pies ever! The decor is completely in Rooster/chicken, that's why I thought maybe....but now, darn you, I MUST go down the road to A-Z gifts and buy up the gift aisle

If there are no other particular businesses here in Alma that you frequent, I will be sure to put a flyer in the two feed stores at least, maybe even Harps & CV's and any other posting places I come across.

AND, I guess since you got the day off from work for this all important event , I'll get to MEET you!!!!

well I got so excited after reading everyones post that I about fell out of my chair getting the disc with the flyer info on it.

I am so happy so many people are coming. everyone pm me with email addys so that I can send ya'll a copy or I can mail which every is best. yea! And yes hit up everyone or place you can think of and plaster those flyer all over everywhere.

I printed the flyer out, once I worked through my dorkiness to figure out how to make it a full page and will be posting it at my 2 local feed stores today. The only thing I noticed, it doesn't have a time listed, so you may get calls with those questions.

Oh and Hooligans - you know who you are - the A-Z enabler

so I figured since I have go go into town anyway, I now MUST check out the chicken gift aisle at A-Z gifts.

I'm still working through that humongous bag of couscus from there!!

Oh you bought some too huh? My chickens love that stuff, well I only made it for them when it was cold but they liked it with some veggies mixed in!
