old english bantam has a swollen posterior and scabby loook thing on her bottom

Forgive me for not using the correct chicken terminology but we just got two bantam old english bantams and one is SO tiny and I noticed when we brought her home she had something on her butt. The actual opening looks swollen and below it is something scabby and I've thought it looks like dried poop but upon closer inspection it looks like something might be infected. I can't say for certain I've seen it poop either. Ive given her the probotics from the co op.

Have you tried washing the area or soaking the hens butt to see if anything Infection like comes out?

I did soak it for a few mins but nothing came out or off. The chick died about 2 days ago
