I hate tossing away eggs that someone else could hatch!

I know this is an older post and all but I was wondering how can you tell what sex they are so young? We have one I believe its a Old English Silver Duck Wing. She looks like the one's in the picture you have posted and from internet search I'm Pretty sure that's what it is.
My only worry it came from a straight run so we don't know if it will be a hen or rooster.
My neighbors are close so a rooster is out. But she was so cute we figured we would chance it.
So what is the magic to figuring out its sex? Its just past a week old now!
