I love his crowing! I’m not sure what he thinks of my voice though... he has such tiny little feets! He’ll stand on my hand and look at me like “is this not normal?”

It's impossible not to. My Piper sounds as though he has a perpetual sore throat.

Awww....teensy foots. OEGBs exhibit such delicate, refined features. Completely normal.

Thought I'd share more pictures of my Kisses, solely because he's the best little man. Most males are somewhat standoffish by nature (a rather good quality, actually), but he's the first I've ever experienced that's....affectionate? These capture his charming personality perfectly.

Might I mention we spoil him rotten? He joins us in the house on a near-daily basis for treats, where demanding behavior is treated with positive reinforcement.

Buttercream laid her first egg yesterday!

Also, Missy laid her second egg! (She laid her first one over a week ago);

Spoiler: The Story :)

So Missy has been acting strange and in pain ALL week since the day after she laid her first egg. She’d make little holes in the dirt, always making sure she covered her vent, and extended her leg, and she’d let out an immense amount of squawking noises;

(wasn’t dust bathing)

When she would actually bother with getting up and walking, she’d pulse her bottom and cluck LOUDLY! I knew something was wrong

Later that day... SHE WAS THE NESTING BOX!

I thought, good, she just needed to lay, she should be fine. Hours later, she was still in there

And a few MORE hours later...
SHE LAID HER SECOND EGG!
It had a bit of blood on it, but I think she’ll be okay:
