Old English Game Bantams - BBRed

I have a 1 week old bbred old english game bantam chick that I hatched from my trio. Now, the chick is feathering out into feathers that are the color of the hens feathers.

Since BBred roosters and hens are 2 totally different colors, can the chicks be sexed when they get their feathers in,?

Or, are they like male ducks. Where they feather in with female feathers, but then molt into their male colors?

They will be hen coloring untill about 7-8 weeks when the cockerels will start feathering out a different color.
