Old Fashioned Broody Hen Hatch A Long and Informational Thread

I haven't heard the peeps (or maybe just my imagination) but have definetely heard mama talking to them two days before actually hatching. My curiosity is usually met with the cold shoulder stare - and nothing happening here look from the broody. :) funny hens!
 
Bad news now, do you know how i was asking if my friends chick was ok in the egg? then i said it had hatched? well its having problems now :(
 
Some pics of the chicks, (on the pic with the two ginger hens on is Flora and princess layer, they are both ex batts and i have out it on because of Melow and the Orp having a bad past with her!)

One of the broody RIR's is hatching. I though on lock up last night she was getting ready to by the way she was acting. She is giving me my birthday present. New fuzzy butts!

but that ones more shy the other one that i showed you guys is not as shy how i make him come out i start moving shaving around then he starts to walk to it and he starts turning his head and looking hes so cute ... the new on is a brown and white i couldn't get a good look at him i only saw part of him i will try to get some pics of him
 
Broody's keep takin the chicks outdoors.. =)
We have a wood stack about 8 ft. All the babies and the broody's roost on it now... :p
