Well I am thinking boy so will say Drake, but thats okay he's a keeper. and still 5 more eggs to go. I'm thinking Ruthanns little rubber ducky is a girl, just looks like one. Looking forward to seeing Juniors pic. better come up with a better name. lol

Here is an updated pic of 'Junior' it got in the pen and mum was on the other side couldn't figure out how to get back so my girls moved it after taking a picture of coarse lol

If there has, I can't tell.. she ain't budging! I could barely see rubber ducky this morning.. just a touch of yellow fluff

And yes that wouldn't help with a 4wk difference, Junior makes rubber ducky look like a tic tac with a bill lol

Ruthies little rubber ducky is 2 week old today had a birthday party and all the flock came but the goose he doesn't care much for parties.. They had dried mealworms for the birthday celebration.. This little duckling is so independent runs around all over without mama and no one messes with her. I have seen her stand right in a chickens face and try to intemidate it.. so funny.

Our rubber ducky has died.

Darn it all, i'm mad... no idea what went wrong, it was perfectly fine yesterday evening. I know 'these things happen' but it's extremely disheartening nonetheless.. Nothing got to it, it was just dead beside Lilac..

I'll have to remove it later on.. she was awfully upset.. so far no other eggs have hatched yet either. sigh

Thats so sad. When you took it away did you notice anything out of the ordinary?
