Old Fashioned Water Well Hand Pumps - Still Made?

My mom and dad installed one. I think it was fairly easy to do it, they did themselves.

There are all different ones available, stainless steel with leather gaskets, rubber gaskets, etc. They range in price dramatically. If you have amish locally often they can be hired relatively inexpensively to install them and are very familiar with the workings of them. Our local amish even asked if we would want a windmill to help pump it

The ones at TS. and lowes are not real expensive but will only pump up to 25 feet deep here is a link to a good hand pump that will pull from much deeper expensive but you get what you pay for
