yes, we raise alpacas for the wool and to make more alpacas!
There are lots of uses for the wool or "fleece" as we typically call it. Its softer than wool, warmer (its hollow core) and most people who are allergic to wool can wear alpaca because the folks who have trouble with wool are often allergic to lanolin.
We love farm visitors. Be sure to call and schedule a visit if you are near Williamsburg, VA
