Five weeks old…a few days ago she popped a Mohawk. She’s bigger than the other babies…not that it means much. Is she a cream legbar black marans X? She has veeeery lightly feathered legs. Like one or two little feathers. The last pic is for leg color - she was very proud of herself for being able to fly up to the top of the brooder and was all fluffed out for a minute.

Oh she's very cute! I have an Olive Egger that's a Crested Cream Legbar X Cuckoo or Black Copper Maran. This is her at 5 weeks compared to your little one. Mine has clean legs. When her mohawk came in I just about died at how cute it was. She was the first to lay in my flock of 4 and lays huge sweet great eggs.

Hi Disheygirl, what did she end up looking like? What do her eggs look like?

I have 3 BCM roo X CL 5 week old chicks and I am wondering what they are (m or f) and will end up looking like. Right now they have papa's coloring but Mama's crest and tail. The darkest one looks to have more of a Marans body shape, while the other two look more slender like the cream legbar.
