OMG...158 chickens in the house!

I saw that! All roosters, too... no rent being payed in nesting boxes even! Poor guy loved his roos too much to give them away... What happened in the ending? I only watched half then got tired and fell asleep...

Wow...watching Animal Plant - Confessions- Animal Hoarding...Guy has 158 chickens running loose in the house. He doesn't really bother to gather the eggs or anything.

Rob was just on there rescuing the chickens!! yeah!! BYC!!!

Ohh I just set it up to record, it is on at 9pm tomorrow night!

I don't think that filming captured the true magnitude of it. It actually didn't look that bad on film, but I only know how horrible it must have been in actuality....just the smell would be incredible. The funny thing is is that he seemed very clean himself, had a clean place to sleep. I thought it was sad though that it was pointed out to him that he had animals that he only observed, didn't really interact with. He was a lonely man. I'm glad he got help.

I will try to see that episode.
The one episode that really, really creeped me out was the man who bought three rats and let them keep breeding. He eventually had something like 2000 in his house. He finally moved to a shed because the rats were keeping him awake at night by licking his eyeballs when he slept. He thought they might be thinking about eating him!!!!

YAAAAAAA TO ROB!!!!!!

Great job!... it was a great thing to be able to place his roosters!

Watched the show last night. I cannot imagine how long it took to clean up that house after 158 chickens had been in it. I was happy to see that he finally got the help he needed and that Rob was able to rescue most of the chickens. I hope that someone built a coop for the remaining chickens and that they were all hens that he was left with!!! I would just like to thank Rob and all those people who adopted all those chickens, giving them a chance to be normal chickens. I hope that Peter kicks his addiction so that it never happens again.

The organization that rescued them is still trying to find homes for remainder of the chickens. I checked out their website and there are adoption forms you can fill out, much like adopting a dog or cat.

Watch most of the hoarder shows and you will see similar persons just different locations!

But this guy named Peter seemed different than most. He was clean, well spoken and actually could justify somewhat as to why he kept them inside.

I think most of us are capable of being him! We just have spouses or family to keep us in check....
