OMG...158 chickens in the house!

Sound really awful - I don;t think I will be able to watch it here in Ireland -

I do think there is something a miss with those folk who do that kind of thing. - Though I guess if you look back in history often humans and animals lived alongside eachother though I think mostly sheep and cattle and pigs not really chickens??? Having been out to the coop this morning and smelled the stink from just 6 girls in the larger coop - well I am deffinately not making plans to move in with them!!!

me too what happened ?

There is another post about this from a member and Rob says he was part of the show, as was another member.

Very cool.

This time, the owners seem like bright people who realized the issue and just felt at a loss, sometimes the owners are oblivious and in denial.

This is on Animal Planet channel. No one can say OMG enough. I recorded it last night and am watching now. So i grabbed the laptop and said "I wonder who else watched this" YUCKY.I checked the eposide guide and for those of you that missed it the first time it will replay again on 1/16 @ 9pm and again at 11 pm.

Thanks, Nick. I get all my TV on-line. I'd like to see the episode, although I can probably predict how it will end. Years in the medical field showed me all I really needed to know about "collectors". I am still morbidly curious, though.

Rob apparently took all but 20 of them, which were supposed to be going into an outside coop. The man was convinced that no one would want the roos except to eat, so he kept saying that he wouldn't let them go unless they promised they wouldn't be killed. He actually was trying to collect the eggs, but he had so many that he would miss the hidden broody nest.

Highly disturbing.
