ok lol look at the date of my first post

this happened like a year ago!

Yeah let them eat.......maggots worms bugs etc.

If I start digging in the dirt my chickens come running, they know there are good things under and in the soil.

Maggots only eat what is already dead. They do not eat living flesh, and are actually good on a wound because they keep infection down.

The chickens will love them. I used to raise maggots to feed to my lizards.
