I accidentally hit the corner of the table that the 'bator is on removing eggs from the turner so I could lock down. Made a hole the size of a pencil eraser in the shell. Membrane is intact but looks dry..................is there any thing I can do, I don't want it to dry out.
I really want this particular egg to hatch out.

Happened about 5 minutes ago. Argh these fumble fingers of mine!

If photos are needed please let me know! Thanks!

I say get your finger tip wet, moisten the membrane, and then put a little bit of cling wrap over it. Can't hurt to try!

It is in the bator where it will stay in hopes of a good hatch. Just wonder if there is anything else I should do. Thanks!

Thanks, will try the scotch tape!

I have seen eggs hatch after wax has been applied... try wax.. It does work a good percentage of the time.

No not vaseline... It is a petrolium product.. Not a good choice at all...The fumes can harm the others... Flammable also
