I can't believe it. I found some expensive Silkie Chicks in Florida, that I just instantly loved. (I live in Illinois) I've been looking for some silkie eggs for a while, but I have rotton hatching luck. Well just joking around I asked my family if I could spend $120+ on a few chicks and they said 'Go for it!'
Usually they don't like me spending a ton on birds, and I have to beg for everything. But without hesitation I got an instant yes! I contacted the seller and let her know I want them now I am about to go crazy waiting for her to reply. Haha. I haven't even made it final and I'm already jumping for joy. I'm just so excited. I used to not like Silkies, thought they looked strange. But after looking at picture after picture and listening to everyone talk about them, I've gotten Silkie Fever. Now I am lucky enough to get probably the best ones I've seen.
Now I just got to hope that out of the five chicks I get at least one roo and one hen. Or else I will be devestated. lol
