OMG! I'm soooooo excited! FIRST EGG!!!! (PICS ADDED)

Yeah, we get 1 egg regularly ... from our Justina

but the 2 new girls have yet to pitch in

Hoping they settle down soon and get to business! The girl I bought them from said they started laying a few weeks ago, so they should be ready. Just not sure how stress effects them. I got 1 omelet so far but since we only had the ONE girl, it took 9 days to get enough eggs for it. LOL

We have 5 bantum females, OEG, golden sebright and one Mille Defleur Duccle. They give us bantum eggs very regularly at least 2-3 a day from the 5 of them. 2 light brown, one white. I think the D'uccle give us one pretty regularly, she pinked up her comb first, but she is a shy bird. My son loves her the most, I was so thankful when it became evident she was a girl. He names her "Okay," She gets addressed very often, because I think that name is so funny! Glad you are loving getting your eggs. I also got mine end of March, beginning of April sometime!
