Well, it is now day 18. I will candle for the last time tonight.....gotta get that last one in you know. Fill water trays and shut her up for the duration. Fingers are crossed, I am a nervous wreck. These little brats are too important to my kid. Wish me luck!!!!

We candled today, too. I saw ONE for sure developing. Not sure on the rest, only candled 5, Mama was running for the nest after eating and OMG poop!

Didn't want bit again, so we we left the rest of the eggs alone.

Ugh....it has been a long afternoon.

I won't be candling until the kids go to bed (or right before) when it is dark. That is about 8:30....so a little over an hour more.

I am anxious for it. But dread it too. I get nervous when I can't open my bator anymore. And I forgot to get the grippy stuff.......OMG I am a bad chickie mom!!!

my old habbits are trying to kick in... i want to incubate some of my own eggs but hand turning this time but then and again i already have a ton of chicks.. but my bad side is telling me GET THOSE EGGS!!
