We must have twin silkies!!!!!!! I got my very first egg on Thursday, followed by the second one on Saturday, and a third one late Sunday night!!!!!!! OMG I was SO EXCITED! So I know just how you feel!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Mine look just like yours. They are perfectly formed and charmingly petite. Are you incubating yours...is it fertile? Mine are not fertile so I'm saving them up to have an omelette! HA! What color silkies do you have? Which one laid the egg? I think mine came from a SQ blue hen who is larger and slightly older than the rest. I have blue, white, splash and buff together (8 total).​

It should be fertile, I have 7 boys and 4 girls all in together. I was planning on seperating them by color when they got big enough, but the weather has had different plans for me. The colors I have are black, white, cuckoo, splash and buff. And yes, my bator has been running since Friday morning with 31 eggs, so I put this one in to see what I get. I don't know which one laid it.. I am thinking it was the cuckoo.
