OMG What have I done?

He'll make you another coop quicker than next year if you take his car out of the garage, put up roosts and nest boxes. Then tell him you had to; you needed a place for the chickens.... It's not healthy if they are crowded.

HMMMM very good thought. He is cleaning out the entire garage on sat. He would just die to see chickens hanging out in his freshly clean garage lol roosting on his motorcycle handle bars and nesting on the shelves. I might just consider it lol.

You can just explain that a Crazy Canadian Gal from the chicken website told you it was a great idea!

I just read that sentence back to myself out loud.... maybe you shouldn't tell him or anyone else that... unless they are BYCers, they just wouldn't understand and may get you one of those white jackets with really long arms.

Your post made me smile thanks for the laugh my husband will find this even more amusing asuming i dont really take over his garage...
I wish i could add in sound of like an evil WHAH HA HA HA laugh.

I think that sound effects would get me in trouble at work!
That would be cool though.

If you move some stuff out onto the drive way and ask him were the drill and screws are with a 2x4 in hand, chances are you won't HAVE TO take over the garage.

(Of course I am a very hands on girl and would just build it myself, but not everygirl has as much fun with the powertools as others. I have to sit on my hands when the DH is working on something or I will hijack his project.)

Good luck and glad I could give you a laugh.

I need to subtract two Lav Orp roos they are just to rough on my girls but I can't even give them away and I'm going to substract 10 next week they are going to their new home but I brought 6 last night to replace the 3 I lost during the week due to a chicken stampede so even with my substraction i'm still up by 3

It's only subtraction if you're not adding the roos to the freezer....
